Spreading Holiday Cheer for Sysco Employees

Spreading Holiday Cheer for Sysco Employees

This holiday season, we had the incredible opportunity to decorate a festive celebration for Sysco employees, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and holiday spirit. The event was held at the Matrix Club in Naperville. The decor was designed to blend the magic of the holidays with Sysco’s brand identity, resulting in a space that was both festive and uniquely theirs. From vibrant holiday-themed colors to an eye-catching, on-brand photo opportunity perfect for capturing memories, every detail was thoughtfully planned to celebrate the hardworking team at Sysco in style. It was a truly special way to bring their employees together and make the season bright!

The holiday party for Sysco employees began with a warm and festive welcome as guests picked up their event passes and entered through a stunning three-balloon arch tunnel, setting the tone for an unforgettable brunch. Along the way, they passed a hot cocoa and candy bar, offering sweet treats to enjoy throughout the night. The first stop was the photo op area, which featured dazzling light-up marquee letters spelling "SYSCO" alongside a custom balloon wolf mosaic representing the company’s local mascot. After capturing memorable photos, guests entered the beautifully decorated ballroom, filled with tables adorned with elegant holiday-themed centerpieces. The space buzzed with excitement as employees and their families enjoyed various activities, including face painting, balloon twisting, craft tables, and even the chance to meet and take photos with Santa himself. Every detail was designed to create a festive and engaging experience that celebrated the hard work and dedication of Sysco’s incredible team.

This holiday party for Sysco is truly one of our favorite events each year, and we feel honored to be a part of such a meaningful celebration. The energy, excitement, and joy that fill the room make it a highlight of our season. We love collaborating with the Sysco team to create a festive atmosphere that brings their employees and families together in a memorable way. A special shoutout goes to Romeo Trif, the Vice President of Operations, for his incredible hard work and dedication in planning this event. His vision and effort ensure every detail comes together perfectly, and we can’t wait to partner with him and the Sysco team again next year to make the celebration even more magical!

A few words from our client Romeo:

What was your vision for this year’s holiday party, and how did you want the event to reflect Sysco’s values and spirit?

My vision was to create a magical event for our colleagues.  This event consistently ranks at the top of our engagement surveys, and it’s an event I personally look forward to hosting each year. Reflecting on it, I can’t think of a better way to live Sysco's Purpose of Connecting the world to share food and care for one another. Meeting our colleagues’ families and children and seeing their smiles and joy is such a rewarding experience. I’m grateful to be part of this amazing event and to show our gratitude to our colleagues and their families—they truly deserve it! I'm also thankful to be part of an organization that supports colleagues engagement and creates opportunities for such meaningful connections.

What feedback have you received from employees and their families about the decor, activities, and overall atmosphere?

Colleagues loved the event, with many praising the number and quality of the face painters and balloon twisters compared to last year. The event hall was much nicer, and the décor was impressive!

How did the on-brand photo op with the marquee letters and balloon wolf mosaic enhance the experience for attendees?

It was truly the highlight of the event. Our Wolf Pack culture in Chicago was beautifully reflected in the giant balloon mosaic, and it became a popular photo spot

What inspired you to include activities like face painting, balloon twisting, and the craft tables, and how did they contribute to the festive energy of the event?

I really wanted to create the most fun and engaging event for our colleagues. The craft tables provided parents with an opportunity to create lasting memories together.

What was your favorite part of the event, and how do you feel it brought employees together to celebrate the season?

The decorations were top-notch, the music was great, but what truly made it unforgettable was seeing the smiles on the kids and families
